Hampi is a village in the state of Karnataka, India. This used to be a very rich and powerful city, the capital of Vijanagara Empire. Hospet is connected with from Bangalore, Mysore and Gokarna. To get to the Hampi one needs to take the local bus. It is good to book your ticket in advance, because there are a lot of tourists.
