Agra's system of transport includes buses, trains, taxis, rickshaws, and even tongas.
The UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) is the main public bus operator. Many bus routes go through city's main attractions. Buses go much more frequently in the morning and in the evening.
One can find a lot of taxis in Agra. Especially in public places. Sometimes drivers don't speak English, so caring a map is a good idea. They seldom use meters. Negotiating the fare before the ride is a reliable option. Prepaid taxis can be hired for half-day or a full-day sightseeing.

The price, again, has to be negociated before the ride. Tongas (with cycle-rickshaws) are the most environmentally-friendly way to go sightseeing in Agra.
