It is the world’s longest sea beach and it is the touristic town of Bangladesh. It is located alongside the Sea beach of Blue Sea. The beach is a 120 km golden sand sea beach and it is possible to reach there through motor transport. The hotels and the beach attract a large number of tourists and country’s elite locals. The beach is only crowded a bit in tourist season which lasts from October until March. The best time to visit the place is between April and October. Cox’s Bazar is located 150 km south of Chittagong. It is connected both by air and road from Chittagong. There are daily non-stop flights from Chittagong on United or Regent Airways. The journey usually takes around 60 minutes. From Chittagong, the bus journey takes around 4 hours. There are many attractions in Cox’s Bazar such as miles of golden sand, towering cliffs, pagodas, Buddhist temples and seafood. The best activity to do is swimming in the sea or surfing. There are also some fun beach activities to attend.


Rangamati is a popular town in the Chittagong Hill Tracts in the Chittagong Division. From January 2015, a new enforcement was started to be applied. The Home Ministry has enforced the provision of “no free passes” for foreigners visiting the three Chittagong Hill Tracts districts. Foreigners need to submit an application to the Home Ministry a month ahead for their scheduled visit. Rangamati has some sights for tourists such as the Chakma King’s residence and nearby monastery, the Parjatan Sites, Kaptai Lake and Tuk tuk Eco Village. It is also possible to take a boat ride to the Kaptai Lake. To get there, it is possible to take a bus from Chittagong where there are two direct bus servies. One is Paharika starting from Chittagong at 8 am to 8 pm and from Rangamati at 8 am to 9 pm. Foreigners are required to register while entering Rangamati.


It is one of the famous tourist attractions which is famous for its manmade lake. The lake is around 680 sq km. It is a part of the Kaptai Hydoelectricity dam on the river Karnaphuli. The dam is around 153 height and 1800 feet length. Kaptai is located 64 m from Chittagong. It might be a good gateway from the crowdness of the city and enjoy the natural view of the lake. There are also plenty of hotels and guest houses available for overnight stay.
