Cambodia is located in South East Asia. It is officially known as Kingdom of Cambodia. It has a population of over 15 million. Its capital city is Phnom Penh. Cambodia has a rich cultural heritage. PhnomPenh is a tourist spot itself. Cambodia's Ankor Wat is listed as a World Heritage Site. Tourists usually visit Ankor Wat. Cambodia's Ankor Wat, Kep, Bayon, Taprohm, The sandstone of ancient holy places, the giant roots of ancient trees, colorful pagodas, pristine islands, century beach, and the ancient temples are also Cambodia's pride. The local people have a very friendly and welcoming attitude, which helps tourists to be more comfortable in visiting the place.
For some reason Cambodia is proud of its unimpressive Water Festival held November of every year wherein Tonle Sap reverses its course when Mekong River swells. Phnom Penh is not the only city that's rich with cultural heritage and tourist spots. Visitors also visit Banlung, Sihanoukville, Siem Reap, and Battambang. These places are also rich in terms of tourism.
