Regardless of a very high growth of industry and economy, Vietnam is still a communist country, and one of the main characteristics of their economy is that private ownership is still very rare and even forbidden in some areas. This all affects the accommodation industry, making the existence of private apartments and other forms of accommodation rare, and thus limiting the accommodation capacities of Hue, as well as other Vietnamese cities.
