Getting by plane in East Jerusalem is a great way since there are a couple of airports where planes from everywhere in the world land. Another way to get in Jerusalem is by train which leaves from Tel Aviv. The journey lasts about an hour and a half. The best and the most way to get into the city is by bus. Another way to get in the city is by a shared taxi which are located near Jericho, from the Allenby Bridge Crossing.
Once you are in East Jerusalem the best way to get around is by bus, but keep in mind that buses can be confusing. When you board the bus you pay the driver, who then gives you a ticket which lasts for 90 minutes and unlimited rides. Another way to get around is by light train which stops at most tourist attractions. You can also walk through Jerusalem since it is designed for pedestrians. And the last way to get around East Jerusalem is by bike, which is the best way to see the city and it is recommended for travelers.

This part of the city has a lot of things to offer. One thing that need to be seen is the Mount of Olives, which is a large hill which used to be a Jewish cemetery. It is now full with Christian and Jewish sites. Another thing that has to be seen is the Tomb of Simeon the Just who was a Jewish high priest. If you want to see artifacts and learn something more about the history of Palestine then you van visit the archaeological museum Rockefeller Museum. Last but not least, the thing that has to be seen is the Al-Aqsa Mosque which is the third holiest site in Sunni Islam.
