Bago is one of the cities with greatest accommodation options in Myanmar. No wonder, having in mind its geographical position, near the country’s biggest and most important city Yangon, and the fact that Bago was also the capital of the country, and a very important sea port. In recent years, the most modern highway in this part of Southeast Asia was also built to pass through this city, making it a very transit place, which, naturally, lead to infrastructural development.
We tried to mark off some of the best ones, paying special attention to their price/quality ratio. All prices are subject to changes and given for a period of middle of June, for an over-night stay. Anyone deciding to visit Bago ought to inquire about prices before going to Bago, these are approximate values.

These are pretty much all accommodation options in Bago and most of those around the city. There are some motels and hotels in the surroundings, but not less than 60 kilometers away, so those listed should be considered as the ones available. Ones again, it is very important to book accommodation before heading to Bago, since most of the hotels and resorts are sold out before the peak of the season.
