Casablanca lies on the western part of Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean, Casablanca is the major cosmopolitan city and the economic capital of the country. The Spanish meaning of Casablanca is 'White House'. The city holds a population of around 4 million and is considered as the largest in Morocco. The city houses a sea port which is one of the largest artificial ports around the world. Majority of the modern economy sectors, industries and many international industries are located in and around Casablanca.
Casablanca is home to several buildings with colonial French architecture and Arabic styles. The city has a wide range of accommodation options. Morocco Mall, considered as the largest in the city, has a massive 1,000,000 liter aquarium that contains over 40 diverse species of fish.
Casablanca has a mild Mediterranean climate which is strongly influenced by the cool currents of the Atlantic Ocean.
