Jerusalem is the capital city of Israel and the largest one in the country. It is a holy city to three religions and blends the first century with the twenty-first. It is the oldest city in the world and one whose beauty must be seen to believe.

Getting by plane in Jerusalem is a great way since there are a couple of airports where planes from everywhere in the world land. Another way to get in Jerusalem is by train which leaves from Tel Aviv. The journey lasts about an hour and a half. The best and the most way to get into the city is by bus. Another way to get in the city is by a shared taxi which are located near Jericho, from the Allenby Bridge Crossing.
Once you are in Jerusalem the best way to get around is by bus, but keep in mind that buses can be confusing. When you board the bus you pay the driver, who then gives you a ticket which lasts for 90 minutes and unlimited rides. Another way to get around is by light train which stops at most tourist attractions. You can also walk through Jerusalem since it is designed for pedestrians. And the last way to get around Jerusalem is by bike, which is the best way to see the city and it is recommended for travellers.
Being a bg city Jerusalem offers a lot of things to be seen. One must-see is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which is the holiest Christian place in the world. It is usually crowded with Christian pilgrims from all over the world. Temple Mount is another great place and the third most important Islamic site. On the side of Temple Mount is the West Wall where Jews often pray. Other things that are located on the Temple Mount are the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the place where it is believed that Mohammad ascended to Heaven; the Dome of Rock which is considered to be the most beautiful Islamic building in the world. It is the most known site in Jerusalem.
