Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland. Dublin is situated on Ireland's east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey. The city is bordered to the South by the dramatic Wicklow Mountains. Dublin  is steeped in rich history, starting with the Vikings laying its first streets. It is the most popular entry point for international visitors to Ireland. It's disproportionately large for the size of Ireland with nearly two million in the Greater Dublin Region - well over a third of the Republic's population! Dublin is a warm and welcoming city, known for the friendliness of its people.

Dublin is best known for its bars and pubs but there is more to Dublin than Guinness.
