Buses that belongs to Meto Transport depart from Thimphu Bus Station at 6:30 am daily. The journey takes 11 hours from Thimphu to Jakar. A one way ticket costs less than 300 Nu. It is recommended to take snacks because the bus does not make a stop until lunch time. There is also Bumthang’s new Bathpalathag Airport which currently operates two or three flights a week to Paro.
