Afghanistan: Travel/Tourist Information Guide

Afghanistan is centred in the heart of Asia. It borders with Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, and it has a short border with China as well, but it is inaccessible. The capital of Afghanistan is Kabul. In the last 2.000 years, Afghanistan has been the main place for many powerful empires. However, in the last 30 years Afghanistan is in chaos, mainly because of the major wars that are taking place on its territory. It is considered as a poor nation compared to others.
